Senior Citizens' Day 2014 will be held on Tuesday, May 6 at the Hart Theater in the Egg at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
May is Older American's Month. The theme of 2014 Older Americans Month is Safe Today. Healthy Tomorrow.

Did you Know?
Older adults are at a much higher risk of unintentional injury and even death than the rest of the population. Unintentional injuries to this population result in millions of medically treated injuries and more than 30,000 deaths every year. With a focus on safety during Older Americans Month in May 2014, the Administration for Community Living (ACL) plans to use this opportunity to raise awareness about this critical issue. By taking control of their safety, older Americans can live longer, healthier lives. For more information, please visit http://acl.gov/.
