  • The Northern New York Rural Health Care Alliance hosted its first Annual Conference on the Aging, Continuum of Care For Our Elderly, September 2009
• Lewis County
  • The new Loop-Public Transit Service began operation in July 2009 and has half-price fares for seniors and reservation system for those within 3/4 mile of the route for those who cannot get to a scheduled stop to arrange a custom pick up. http://lewiscountyloop.com/
